Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of onmydevice.app (the “Service”), operated by DotandDash Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service is

OnMyDevice is a collection of free tools — file, image, audio and video converters, certificate and developer utilities — that run entirely inside your web browser. Your files are processed on your own device: they are not uploaded to us, and we have no copies of them. Because processing is local, results depend on your device and browser; large files and older hardware can hit browser memory limits.

Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and only with content you have the right to process. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the Service, to scrape or bulk-download it, to misrepresent its output, or to use it to infringe the rights of others.

Your content stays yours

You retain all rights to the files you process with the Service. Since your files never reach our servers, we claim no licence over them and have no ability to access, retain or disclose them.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Conversions are performed by open-source software running in your browser; always verify important output — for example, check a converted certificate before deploying it, and keep the originals of any file you convert.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DotandDash Technologies Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. The Service is free of charge; our aggregate liability for any claim relating to it shall not exceed one thousand Indian Rupees (₹1,000).

Advertising and third-party services

The Service is funded by advertising (Google AdSense). Ads are ordinary page content and never involve the files you process. Third-party services linked from these pages have their own terms and privacy practices, described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India.
